Liverpool won a trophy (albeit the Carling Cup) and the US beat Italy in Genoa! Holy crap. If this isn't a sign of the end of times I don't know what is!
That's OK. Important DC United players continue to break their legs and leave us short-handed in key positions, a sign that some things are still normal in the world of football.
The Carling Cup is a small trophy but when you're in a 6 year drought a win is a win.
